Mickey Mouse has a characteristic appearance; the snout/nose is one of the central features alongside the ears and the famous red pants. All of these elements are incorporated in Disney-inspired face masks to make the reference to Mickey Mouse direct and clear. So, if you or your kids are fans of Mickey Mouse (let’s be real, who isn’t a fan?), then make sure to check out the following masks.
Donald Duck and Co. Face Masks
Just like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck also has a very special place in all of our hearts. This hot-headed duck, who often got himself into some unfortunate situations, made generations of youngsters and adults laugh. His quick temper, but also a heart of gold made us all love him and enjoy the adventures of the Duck family.
Just like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck has a special appearance, as his yellow beak contrasts very well against his blue outfit. Because of this, he makes a perfect design inspiration for a face mask, especially his yellow beak.

Elsa is probably the most recognized animated character, and her face is on almost every children-intended product. And, face masks are no exception.
However, the Frozen face masks are genuinely really nice and not over-the-top. Some designs do not even make a direct reference to the movie or the Elsa character; they just look snowy and cute. So, if you’re looking to buy your little ones cute face masks, we recommend you check out these Frozen-inspired designs.
Things to Consider Regarding Non-Medical Masks
All of the aforementioned masks are not medical-grade, nor are the designs. Medical-grade masks do not feature such playful patterns and designs; their main purpose is to act as a piece of protective equipment.
However, non-medical grade or cloth masks are allowed for wearing, as they do provide a certain level of protection. But, they are not FDA approved or cleared. Nonetheless, under FDA and EUA, these masks are used as a source control by the general public. As such, the aforementioned masks can be worn by both adults and children.
When buying non-medical grade masks, or when making them on your own, make sure to choose the right materials. Go for 100% cotton or a combination of polyester and cotton. These materials are the most breathable and non-irritating for the skin.
Also, make sure to check the size of the mask and the length of the ear straps. Sometimes the straps can be too large for children, or too small for adults. Opt for masks with adjustable ear straps, and a possible pouch for a filter too. However, this is not a priority with these masks; the filter pouch can just serve as an option fo additional protection.
And finally, make sure to wash your non-medical cloth masks since they’re generally made from washable materials. These masks are reusable and require frequent and regular cleaning and washing. Otherwise, they could act as a secondary transmission source.
